Flaring Apricot Tropical Teriyaki Beef Kabobs
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Flaring Apricot Jam
1/4 Cup Orange Juice
5 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
1 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
Kabob Ingredients:
2 Pounds Beef Sirloin Steaks (cut into bite sized cubes, fat trimmed, pierced with a fork)
5-6 Spears Fresh Pineapple (cut into one inch chunks)
1 Large Orange Bell Pepper (cut into large chunks)
1 Large Red Bell Pepper (cut into large chunks)
1 Large White Onion (cut into chunks)
- Instructions:
- 1. Mix the beef marinade ingredients until smooth. Place beef cubes in a large sealable bag or
container. - 2. Set aside 1/4 cup of marinade for basting. Pour the rest over the beef. Refrigerate overnight for
optimal flavor. - 3. Drain beef from marinade. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread beef, pineapple,
peppers, and onion onto skewers. - 4. Grill skewers until evenly browned on all sides.
- 5. Cook beef to medium-rare and vegetables until tender-crisp.
- 6. Remove skewers from grill and serve immediately. Caution: Skewers will be hot!
